The Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales, also known as Fransalian Missionaries, is an international religious congregation, founded in Annecy, France in the year 1838 by Servant of God, Fr. Peter Marie Mermier to bring about the renewal of Christian life, under the patronage of St. Francis de Sales, a doctor of the church.

Fransalians are currently doing missionary works in 27 countries in the world, dedicating themselves by preaching Parish Missions, Foreign Missions, Education, Evangelization, and other Innovative Pastoral Minis- tries. The pastoral ministry and lifestyle of the Fransalians witnesses the Seven Salient features of the Saliesian Spirituality such as: Charity, Humility, Simplicity, Optimism, Gentleness, Humanness and Resignation to the will of God in the service of the local Church. Fransalians are headquartered in Rome, Italy.

Fransalians in the United States! Fransalian missionaries have been present in the United States for almost 50 years. There are about sixty-five priests currently doing pastoral ministry in 25 Dioceses spread out in fifteen States in the USA. Fransalians have formed a Vice Province in the United States, which is headquartered in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, Georgia. They are committed to renewing the lives of the faithful through their preaching, teaching and forming by focusing on re-evangelizing the evangelized.

Fransalians are at your service, dedicated to the renewal of your faith and life. Your prayers and support will help us be genuine missionaries in the spirit of our founder, Servant of God Fr. Peter Marie Mermier and our heavenly patron St. Francis de Sales.
