Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales (MSFS)

Our Mission

The Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales, also known as Fransalians, is an international religious Congregation in the Catholic church, founded on October 24, 1838, in Annecy, France. Our Global Headquarters are located in Rome, Italy.

Our community was founded by Servant of God, Fr. Peter Marie Mermier. We follow the spirituality of our Heavenly Patron, St. Francis de Sales, the Gentleman Saint. Our charism is parish mission, foreign mission, education, and evangelization.

We are currently working in 33 countries worldwide; most of them are mission countries. The Fransalians have been working in the United States since 1969 and are currently serving in 26 Arch/Dioceses spread out in 15 States.

We humbly ask you to support our mission and various ministries worldwide, reaching out to the less privileged brothers and sisters around us. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and we will be able to provide you with an annual report of your contribution.

Thank you for your generosity, and may God bless you and your loved ones.
